What is Sculptra?

How Does Sculptra Work?
Following your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Steckler to develop your unique plan for treatment, you can receive your Sculptra injections in one of our private procedure rooms. Your injector can use a numbing cream or local anesthetic before cleansing and marking the areas to be injected. Once you are ready, the filler will be injected into your treatment areas. For longer-lasting results, Dr. Steckler recommends a series of four Sculptra injections that are scheduled around three weeks apart. After your treatment, you may have mild or moderate redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness that should subside naturally in 3 – 5 days. To encourage healing, you can apply cold packs to the injected areas. Most patients will notice visible improvements immediately after their appointment with full results developing after a few months when the natural production of collagen strengthens the skin. When performed as a series over the course of 3 – 4 months, your results may last up to two years.
