Voted “Best Facialist” by Jackson Free Press two years in a row, Ryan Hodges makes helping others her mission. She is a trusted caregiver to our clients and considers it a blessing to assist people look and feel their best. As our staff aesthetician, Ryan performs skin care and laser procedures, gives consultations, and educates clients. Furthermore, she is a trained medical tattoo artist. Helping breast cancer survivors complete the last step of their breast reconstruction, nipple and areola tattooing, is very personally rewarding for her.
Front Desk Coordinator
Donna is the friendly face that greets you when you visit the MS Center for Plastic Surgery. She has over 35 years’ experience in reception for beauty and medical spa services. Discover the wealth of services we have to offer by giving Donna a call! She sees our clients leaving the office feeling great about themselves, and she knows you will, too. Donna is married to her husband of 36 years, Jay, and has two sons, Phillip and Austin.
Mariah Gibson is our Licensed Aesthetician with over a decade of experience in medical aesthetics. Mariah enjoys building strong lasting relationships with her clients, creating custom made daily regimens and timing the right procedures to achieve optimal results. Her 360 degree approach helps her make that positive difference in the lives of those she sees, one of her favorite things she loves about her job. Mariah has a son, Zach, mentors 2 exchange students from Germany and Bejjing, enjoys exercising, all things beauty and continuing education in her field. Mariah specializes in micro-blading, lasers, lash enhancement services, chemical peels and state of the art facial resurfacing procedures.
Susan began the MS Center for Plastic Surgery with her husband, Dr. Steckler. Her career includes working as a registered nurse for nine years at the SICU at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She performs administrative duties at the clinic in addition to marketing and advertising. She recently returned to work after spending 10 years to raise her family, and she is thrilled about the rewarding work they do every day.
Surgical Assistant and Patient Coordinator
Peggy assists in patient care during clinic and assists in procedures. She has been in plastic surgery for 35 years. She coordinates surgeries and has extensive knowledge in the medical industry. Peggy is impassioned by seeing patients feel better about themselves. She is here to answer all your questions about all avenues of our procedures from start to finish. She lives in the reservoir area and is married to her husband of 22 years, Mike, and has two children, Madison and Hunter.
Patient Care Coordinator
Pam educates our patients about cosmetic procedures and products – from fillers and Botox to more invasive surgical procedures. She walks patients through the process, and with input from Dr. Steckler and the patient, she helps create long term plans for overall goals. She loves celebrating the “after” with our patients when they look and fee their best! Pam is married to Mike and has two daughters, Sawyer and Georgia, and her dog Newman.
Surgical Assistant and Patient Coordinator
Deanna has been a registered nurse for over 20 years. She assists with patient care in clinic and during procedures. Deanna loves to talk with patients about product and procedure options- many of which she has undergone herself! Deanna’s personal knowledge and enthusiasm for the self-improvement opportunities available are helpful and encouraging to many patients. She is always amazed at the joy and happiness that decisive self-improvement brings to patients. Deanna is married to her husband, Steve for 26 years and they live in Lost Rabbit near the reservoir where they are nearly “empty-nesters.” Deanna has raised two sons (Gavin and Jack), a daughter (Dodie) and are currently trying to control their very hyper Shorkie named Lady Mary.
Priscilla Resser, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant, and she is the first PA in Plastic Surgery in the state of Mississippi. She has trained under and learned from over 12 different plastic surgeons in Central and South Mississippi. She is a trained aesthetic injector. She received her Bachelor’s of Biology and minor in Chemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi. She attended the PA program at Mississippi College receiving her Master’s of Science in Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy for Physician Assistants and Mississippi Academy for Physician Assistants. She assists in all cosmetic, hand, skin cancer, and breast reconstruction operations. “I am so grateful to be able to join the team at the Mississippi Center for Plastic Surgery. We all deserve to feel beautiful in our skin and I love encouraging each other and promoting self care. Dr. Steckler and I both practice in a conservative art to promote the most beautiful and natural look. I look forward to participating in all cosmetic and medical procedures!”
Emma is the newest member of our team at The Mississippi Center for Plastic Surgery. She assists in patient care during clinic and assists in procedures. Emma has worked in a variety of fields since becoming a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant in 2014, gaining knowledge and experience in the medical industry. Emma is passionate about helping others, and feels fortunate that she has the ability to provide care and support to patients as they embark on the journey of restoring self-confidence and feeling beautiful in their own skin. Emma lives in the reservoir area with her fiance, Jeremy, and her two Border Collies, Abby and Luna.
